Three weeks after giving birth to her second child, the Teen Mom star has opened up about her struggles with breastfeeding. On Twitter, Lowell explained that while things were hard at first, she and daughter Novalee Reign have gotten their routine down pat.
"3 am feedings are so worth it #mommylife #NovaleeReignBaltierra," Lowell wrote early on Wednesday morning. Then, when a fan asked if Lowell was breastfeeding, she answered, "Yes, I am breastfeeding was hard at first but starting to get the hang of it."
A 'Teen Mom' Season 5 Premiere Date Has Reportedly Been Set
Lowell and Baltierra welcomed their daughter on New Year's Day amid filming on the upcoming fifth season of Teen Mom. Although it is unclear when the series began, and wrapped, filming, it is expected that fans will see plenty of Lowell's pregnancy, and hopefully, meet her daughter as well.
Also pregnant during filming on Teen Mom was Lowell's co-star, Maci Bookout. After two years of dating Taylor McKinney, Bookout announced they were expecting their first child together in July of this year.
Meanwhile, the third and final star of the show, Amber Portwood, is out of jail and reacquainting herself with her daughter, Leah Shirley, whose father, Gary, is also expecting a child with his new girlfriend, Kristina Anderson.
Teen Mom season 5 will reportedly premiere next month on MTV. The network, however, has not yet confirmed the news.
