Lil Wayne "Dedication 4" Free Mixtape, "I'm a Generous Dude" (FREE DOWNLOAD)
Rapper Lil' Wayne has released his highly anticipated mix tape album "Dedication 4" on Monday, September 3. The Cash Money artist announced that he made the album available for free download because he's a "generous dude." You can download the album here for free.
The 29-year-old rapper, nicknamed "Weezy", told MTV news blog Mixtape Daily why he released the album for free: "The reason why I'm recording mixtapes is because I've grown a whole fanbase that just loves Wayne mixtapes," he said. "Me being the generous dude I am, I have to cater to those people, so that's why I do the mixtapes now."
He also admits that choosing the music for his rhymes wasn't an easy process:
"Usually, I kill all the hot songs that's out," he said. "But I'm on all the hot songs that's out. So now I have nothing to kill."
The 15 song album follows the tradition of his previous mix tapes, Wayne rhyming over beats made popular by other recording artists' songs.
"D4"'s opening track "So Dedicated," is a rap over Rick Ross' "So Sophisticated"; his track "Same Damn Time" which has a guest appearance by his artist Nicki Minaj is over Kanye West's group G.O.O.D. Music's "Mercy" track. "Green Ranger" with R&B artist J.Cole, is a guaranteed hit - they sing and rhyme over G-Dep's 90s hit "Special Delivery."
"D4" does offer a few original tracks including "No Worries" where Weezy rhymes about his sexual adventures.

Last month, Lil' Wayne announced that he would take a backseat from rapping to focus on his favorite hobby skateboarding.
"I'm always looking for the next thing to do. It does get pretty boring when it comes to just the rapping and all that type of stuff," he told Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9.
His love of skateboarding has inspired him to debut a line of skate apparel, TRUKFIT and he is currently developing a line of Lil Wayne skate footwear made by leading skateboard footwear brand Supra. He recently paired up with soad brand Mountain Dew to create a nonprofit youth program called STOKED. Together they are building bringing a skate park to New Orleans for inner-city youth.
"Dedication 4" is the follow-up to last year's mix tape "Sorry For The Wait".
Lil' Wayne has released nine albums, 17 mix tapes and guest-appeared hundreds of tracks with other rappers and singers including Mariah Carey and Chris Brown since his career strted in his teens. He has his own record label Young Money Entertainment which has many artists including multi-platinum selling artists Nicki Minaj and Drake.
