Hannibal is firing out casting updates left and right this month, but the NBC series' biggest announcement is still to come.

Will Graham's Wife Molly Cast On 'Hannibal', Bryan Fuller Talks New Actress

The official Hannibal Tumblr account posted a cryptic update on Wednesday, riling up an already antsy fanbase. NBC pushed the season 3 premiere back to summer, and the Fannibals are hungry for any news to hold them over through the he-ate-us hiatus.

"*Hints at something huge for the Fannibals*," the post read, accompanied by several tags. "#Maybe it's from season 3 #Maybe it's not #Maybe it's actually something huge...like a meteor being catapulted at earth #Maybe you'll find out more soon."

'Hannibal' Star Gillian Anderson Dishes On Series' Frightening Darkness, Bedelia Du Maurier

Hannibal recently cast Richard Armitage as Francis Dolarhyde and Nina Arianda as Will's bride-to-be, filling all the previously announced roles for the second half of season 3. So what news is hiding up Bryan Fuller's sleeves?

Some sites have postulated that the series creator could be preparing to announce a deal with MGM for the rights to Clarice Starling. Over the last two years, Fuller has petitioned for the rights to use the Thomas Harris character, but Starling continued to remain off limits.
