Singing sensation Beyonce Knowles celebrated her 31st birthday on Tuesday, as several family members and celebrities took the time to wish her warm birthday wishes that were posted on her website.

Mother Tina Knowles had written the following to her famous daughter on her special day:

"God blessed me with one of the greatest gifts in my life on Sept. 4, 1981. Happy Birthday love Mom."

Jay-Z's mother also added some lovely words of birthday wisdom to the former "Destiny's Child" standout.

"You came into my life a sweet Southern girl (LOL). You've blossomed into an amazing woman. I admire how you remain grounded and humble and haven't let success change the person you are."

Actress and best friend Gwyneth Paltrow along with the rest of her family took to wishing Beyonce's a happy day as well.

"For dear sweet BB on the occasion of her 31st birthday...We love you so very much."

The number 4, which stemmed from Beyonce's day of birth, has been extremely sentimental for the star in both her life and career. Both she and Jay-Z have also identical tattoos on each of their ring fingers of the Roman numeral and her upcoming album is even titled "4" as well.

It has also been rumored that "IV" is what had inspired the first few letters of the name "Ivy" for the duo's daughter.

As of late, Beyonce had been in Philadelphia this past weekend with Jay-Z for his "Made In America" festival. The rapper's highly-publicized performance had taken place in the downtown area of the Brotherly Love city.

Day one of the concert featured musical performances that ranged from D'Angelo, Skrillex, Janelle Monae and Jay Electronica.

However, day two was said to be equally impressive, as there were also appearances by Rita Ora, Pearl Jam and Drake.
