'Hawaii Five-0' Season 5 Spoilers: Kono To 'Fight For Her Life' In Episode 14, What Dangerous Information Will She Uncover? [VIDEO]
Hawaii Five-0's season 5 is shaping up to be a rough one for Kono.

Grace Park's character was taken hostage during "Ua 'aihue (Stolen)," and episodes 14 and 23 will find the young cop fighting for her life.
Penned by Eric Guggenheim ("Ho'oilina," "Makani 'Olu a Holo Malie"), episode 14 will put Kono's life on the line as Five-0 searches for an elusive criminal. The baddie in "Powehiwehi (Blackout)" is well known for staying off the radar - so far off, in fact, that no one even known his identity.

Being the intrepid investigator that she is, Kono will be the first to uncover the criminal's true name, and her discovery will put her in the crosshairs.
When episode 23 rolls around, Kono will be in an entirely different type of life-threatening danger. Attacked by Mother Nature instead of Five-0's typical rogues gallery of miscreants, the former surf champion will find herself trapped at sea on her paddleboard, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Through both these episodes, Kono's personal life will spill over into the story. Adam (Ian Anthony Dale) previously posited the idea of starting a family, but both Kono's job and Adam's past will cloud the future of their relationship.
"We are playing this arc with Kono struggling with whether she's going to marry Adam or not," executive producer Peter Lenkov told Entertainment Weekly when asked about a possible wedding. "That's going to play out by the end of the season."
