Celebrities On The Train: Tom Hanks Spotted On Subway, Proves He's Not Your Average A-Lister [PHOTO]
Two-time Academy Award winner Tom Hanks is one of the biggest actors of our time. He’s played in countless respected films like 1994’s Forrest Gump and 2000’s Cast Away.
But, that didn’t stop the star from riding the subway. That’s right, Hanks was spotted on the 1 train in New York City on Thursday. Hanks kept it casual wearing glasses, a coat, scarf and a winter hat. He also seemed to have no idea that there was someone taking his picture.

Hanks isn’t the only big star who has been caught riding the train. Actor Keanu Reeves is quite a frequent subway rider. Video even caught Reeves giving up his seat for a random woman like a true gentleman.

Jake Gyllenhaal, Drew Barrymore and pop star Katy Perry have also given up luxury for convenience.
