Kristen Stewart Nervous About First Public Appearance Since Cheating On Robert Pattinson
Kristen Stewart is feeling lots of anxiety leading up to her first public appearance following the revelation that she cheated on boyfriend Robert Pattinson.
Stewart is contractually obligated to walk the red carpet on Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Toronto Film Festival for the premiere of her film "On the Road," but the actress is "fretting" about whether her personal life will overshadow the movie, Radar Online reported.
Stewart's love life has eclipsed her professional work since she was caught kissing her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, leading to her boyfriend Robert Pattinson moving out of the couple's home and telling Jimmy Kimmel he's now "homeless."
"Kristen Stewart hasn't been able to get a wink of sleep in the run-up to the film festival," a source told Radar. "Even though members of the media have been strictly told that questions about her cheating scandal are off-limits, she's been fretting over the film's premiere. She really hopes that the critics are kind to her when it comes to the reviews and they don't judge her on her personal life."
This film is reportedly important to Stewart, particularly because she's a big fan of its source material, the iconic beatnik novel "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac.
"Kristen's worried that because it opens the festival, a lot is expected of it and just prays that it's well received," the source said.
