It looks as though Derick Dillard is definitely in it for the long run. Jill Duggar's husband recently shared a touching story about bald eagles and fidelity on his Instagram account for her fans, while gushing about his wife on his social networking account.
Derick Dillard Tries Out His Wife Jill Duggar's Pregnancy Cravings
In a new post that he shared this week, Derick opened up about his an eagle watching tour he took with his pregnant wife along with his mother and brother and how he was impressed with all the "cool facts" he heard about the country's national emblem.
Derick wrote, "Recently, Jill and I joined my mom and brother to go on an eagle watching tour on the lake near our home. It was so cool to hear all the interesting facts about our national bird: their 6+ foot wingspan, hollow bones for flight, laser-like focus for visual hunting, and, not to mention, the fact that bald eagles aren't actually called bald because they appear to have nothing up top, but because of the white color of the feathers on their head."
Are Jill Duggar & Derick Dillard Getting Their Own Spinoff Show As A Newlywed Couple?
He added, "In 1782, upon the adoption of the great seal of the United States, the American bald eagle became the national emblem. But, perhaps my favorite bald eagle fact is their fidelity. Bald eagles will stay with their original mate until one dies. Then, after a mourning period, they will find a new mate. What an awesome lesson to learn from our national emblem. #7monthswithmybestfriend #USA"
Meanwhile, there have been reports suggesting that Jill and Derick might be getting their own spinoff show.
According to OK! Magazine last Monday, there have been rumors for quite some time now that Jill and Derick are secretly working on their own show about their pregnancy and life in their mansion. The site does add though that the rumors for now are pure speculation, as TLC has neither confirmed nor denied plans for a spin-off show.
