'Mistresses' Season 3 Premiere: Producers Have A 'Brilliant' Idea On How They're Going To Work Around Savi Not Being On The Show? [VIDEO]
After it was announced that Alyssa Milano would not be returning to ABC's Mistresses, it looks like there might be a pretty great idea on how the writers plan to work that out.
'Some Great Plans' Are Coming To 'Mistresses'
Considering that Savi (Milano) was looking for Harry in the Season 2 finale where he happened to be making out with Joss on the beach, this left a big cliffhanger on what would happen if Savi found them. But with Milano not being there, how is this going to work?
One thing is for sure- there will not be a time lapse.
Alyssa Milano Will No Longer Be On 'Mistresses'
Jes Macallan (Joss) told TV Line on Friday that the beginning of Season 3 is going to continue with how things ended before.
"We pick up right where we left off," the actress said. "I was just talking to the producers, saying, 'How are you going to do that?' But they're like, 'It's brilliant!'"
Macallan also said that there will not be a CGI version of Savi and that she and others really thought that there would be some sort of time period taking place.
"We really thought there was going to have to be a time jump, but they figured that out. Why skip away fro [the drama of the Season 2 finale] and be like, 'Here are our characters six months later?'" the actress said. "It'd feel like a disservice. Everyone had big news coming in."
Mistresses Season 3 is expected to premiere sometime this summer on ABC.
