'Dancing With the Stars' 2015 Cast: Maks Chmerkovskiy & Peta Murgatroyd Have 'Never Really Broken Up?' [VIDEO]
Dancing With the Stars pros Maksim Chmerkovksiy and Peta Murgatroyd might be more official than previously thought.
A new report is claiming that Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd might still be together as a couple, according to a source.
"They've never really 'broken up,' " a source reportedly told People. "They're with each other a lot and have been for quite some time, including all last season. Tommy [Chong] would tease her about it."
However, don't Chmerkovskiy to make a big proclamation about their status.
"After some of the more serious commitments Maks made in the past, he's not looking to make any big announcements or labels about things," the source added. "But Peta is his girl and he's never stopped wanting to be around her."
Similarly, Murgatroyd apparently doesn't want to make a big announcement either.
"She couldn't care less about making things official or being called his girlfriend," the source said. "She is so the opposite of clingy and is content to just spend time with him and be happy."
Chmerkovskiy left Dancing With the Stars after season 18 last spring, winning the Mirrorball Trophy for the first time with his celebrity partner Meryl Davis. The pair had sizzling chemistry throughout the competition, sparking dating rumors of their own. Chmerkovskiy and Davis did not comment on such rumors at that time.
Murgatroyd is expected to return for another season of Dancing With the Stars in March.
Dancing With the Stars is scheduled to premiere on Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
