The situation with the Luke impostor has continued taking some strange turns on General Hospital, and the truth about a popular theory of who might be behind the whole thing will finally be revealed.

Fluke Sends A Message To Sonny and Julian

Julian (Michael DeVry) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) have hatched a theory that the impostor is actually Luke's (Anthony Geary) identical-and presumed dead-cousin, Bill Eckert. And now, after giving Shawn the task of digging up Bill's grave to see if he was truly dead, the answers about who is posing as Luke could finally be revealed.

"Was Bill Eckert's body where it should be?" Sonny asks Shawn in a preview clip for the Monday, Jan. 26 episode.

Sonny Has A Theory About Fluke's Identity

No matter what Shawn's answer for Sonny is though, the man posing as Luke will still be enjoying his plot, as he yet again continues taunting the real Luke-who is still imprisoned in the basement of his childhood home.

"Why are you doing this to me?" Luke asks in the clip.

But the actual plot-on both sides-to either keep the truth hidden or expose it to all of Port Charles, could hit a huge snag when Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) goes to the cemetery and sees the handiwork Shawn left behind at Bill's grave.

"Who the hell would want to do this?" he asks himself in the clip.

If Dante begins investigating the mystery surrounding Bill's now destroyed and upturned grave, he could unknowingly also stumble across the truth-and wind up in major trouble and danger.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC. Watch a preview clip for the episode here.
