'The Blacklist' Season 2 Spoilers: James Spader Teases 'Rockier' Terrain, Luther Braxton Post-Super Bowl Episode [VIDEO]
The Blacklist will enter a new, more dangerous landscape with the post-Super Bowl return.
Titled "Luther Braxton," the midseason premiere will see Mr. Reddington (James Spader) hauled off by the CIA. Red will be taken to a secret black site in the Bearing Sea where he will come in contact with a face from his past - Luther Braxton (Ron Perlman) himself. Unfortunately for Red, it looks like his old acquaintance will be his new warden.
"Right out of the gate in the episode that plays after the Super Bowl, you see that the terrain has become considerably rockier," Spader said in a behind-the-scenes featurette. "Ron Perlman plays the Blacklister in the episode after the Super Bowl and in the subsequent episode. It's a two-part story."

The second half of the Luther Braxton storyline will air on Feb. 5 at 9 p.m. in The Blacklist's new Thursday night slot.
