It looks like some heavy betrayal might be headed to Longmire this season.

'Longmire' Might Get A Longer Fifth Season For 2016

Writer Tony Tost shared another song on Twitter this week to give fans an idea of what the folks in the writer's room have been listening to over the weekend.

Three 'Longmire' Stars Confirmed For Summer Festival

Who Was That Masked Man by Van Morrison is some pretty intense inspiration. While the song isn't any sure indication, it does give insight into what the writers have been thinking as they create the new season. With lyrics like "Ain't it lonely, when you live with a gun" and "well you can't slow down and you can't turn 'round", it looks like tough roads ahead for Walt (Robert Taylor) and the gang.

The song also talks about not being able to trust others, and that very sense of isolation could play an important role in the upcoming episodes.

Longmire faced cancellation after A&E dropped the series in 2014. The show lingered in limbo for months before Netflix picked it up towards the end of November. Since then the writer's room has been buzzing with new ideas and potential storylines. Production for the 10-episode season is set to begin in March.

Longmire will likely return for a fourth season on Netflix during the later half of 2015.
