'Survivor' Season 30 Cast: Carolyn Rivera Set To Play Similar To Winners Sandra & Denise In 'Worlds Apart'? [VIDEO]
Corporate executive Carolyn Rivera is one of 18 new players set to compete on the upcoming season of CBS's Survivor and she is hoping to use her leadership skills to win the $1 million.
Carolyn, 52, is from Tampa, Fla. though she hails from New York. She will be appearing on Survivor: Worlds Apart, which has three tribes divided by socioeconomic status, white collar, blue collar and "no collar." Carolyn has a feisty attitude and says in her CBS bio that she is very motivated by the $1 million prize.
She likens herself to Sandra Diaz-Twine, who won two different seasons of Survivor with a tell-it-like-it-is attitude. She also thinks she is similar to Denise Stapley, who won Survivor: Philippines, saying she was going to have a similar strategy by hanging with an older crowd.

A member of the White Collar tribe, Carolyn says that she is able to influence people, as she teaches leadership skills in her real life.
Based on her bio, Carolyn is definitely a go-getter who seems to be willing to take charge.
"Survivor is about 3 things. You have to be athletic, strategic and build relationships," she explains. "This game was made for me. I push myself to do things. I am highly competitive and I know how to influence others. But I do need to keep my Queen's attitude in check. You have to be a leader and know when to make the big move. And look, I am a New Yorker and good TV! A true winner for all!"
Survivor: Worlds Apart is set to debut Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
