The next episode of Glee airs Friday but for fans who are impatient and want to know what happens beyond this episode, there is a new extended synopsis released via SpoilerTV that reveals what's ahead.
The Feb. 6 episode of Glee is titled What the World Needs Now and centers on Santana and Brittany's upcoming wedding as well as other storylines.
Kristin Chenoweth Talks Possibility Of Coming Back For Final Season of 'Glee'
"As Brittany and Santana plan their wedding, Artie [Kevin McHale] is recruited to be the wedding planner," the synopsis reads. "While Santana struggles with the fact that her disapproving grandmother - with whom she hasn't spoken since coming out as a lesbian - refuses to attend, Brittany takes matters into her own hands."
Brittany is not always the brightest bulb so it will certainly be interesting to see what she says to Santana's grandmother. The synopsis says that she will also discover a family secret that explains her surprising mathematical abilities.
Meanwhile, Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) decide to give the glee club the music of Burt Bacharach, which is obviously where the episode title comes into play. The dynamic duo will be enlisting in Mercedes (Amber Riley) for help in mentoring the new kids.
"While Mercedes is supportive of Rachel's new career path, she is committed to convincing her to not abandon her dreams of something bigger and better... namely Broadway," the synopsis continues. "To that end, she tells Rachel she's arranged an audition for her for a new, upcoming Broadway musical, and tries to inspire a resistant and gun-shy Rachel to take another shot at her dreams of stardom."
There will also be some new Rachel and Sam (Chord Overstreet) drama when a "third party" helps them figure out what they want out of each other.
Glee airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
