Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres celebrated her 57th birthday on Monday and of course she had to have her best friend by her side.
On the eve of her birthday, the comedian shared an adorable photo of herself with her wife, Portia de Rossi.
DeGeneres and her beau posed together underneath a beautiful California sunset while standing on the beach and the caption was the cherry on top of the cake.

The Scandal star also shared a makeup free selfie of herself and her wife as they posed at the beach.

The next day, the actress took to Twitter to share a special birthday message with her boo and the tweet was harming.

Apparently, DeGeneres's has a special holiday in Australia, and now she's hoping to make her special day a national holiday in the US, hence her birthday tweet to President Obama and Oprah.
It's unsure if DeGeneres will get her wish, but one thing's is sure, the couple is madly in love with one another and their bond is getting stronger by the minute.
DeGeneres and her wife celebrated their 10-year anniversary in Dec. and we wish them 10 more years of love and happiness.
