It looks like some drama might be brewing on the Middleton family's getaway this week.
Why Kate Middleton Might Be Expecting A Girl This Time Around
Prince William and Princess Kate took their one-year-old son George on vacation this week to celebrate the 60th birthday of Kate's mother, Carole Middleton. The family has planned a big party for Carole, with plenty of friends and family gathering for the event.
It seems, however, that not everyone made the guest list.
Prince William & Princess Kate Take George On Family Getaway
On Wednesday the Daily Mail reported that Carole's only brother, Gary Goldsmith, did not receive an invitation to the birthday bash on Mustique. Apparently Goldsmith has had some trouble with drug use in the past and has been the cause of some bad press for the family over the last few years.
As far as plus ones go, only Kate received that particular honor. While her husband Prince William will be in attendance, It looks like Kate's sister, Pippa, was unable to secure an invitation for her boyfriend Nico Jackson. Likewise, her brother, James, won't be bringing girlfriend Donna Air to the party.
According to the Daily Mail, security is always a priority when William and Kate travel and so a carefully planned guest list is a must. Only 30 people were invited to the party, which is set to be a pretty grand affair.
Amoung the invited include close family friends Dr. Mark and Katie Cecil, Liz Saint from the Mustique Equestrian Centre, plus Carole's tennis coach and yoga instructor.
The family is set to stay on the island of Mustique through the end of the month.
Kate is expected to give birth to her second child in April.
