Aaron Hernandez Attorney's Prepare For Trial
Prosecutors have presented surveillance video and texts that allegedly prove that Hernandez had been feuding with the victim in the days leading to his death.
Based on their evidence, the prosecutors have concluded that, Hernandez and his two friends Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace, picked Lloyd up at his home in Boston, drove him to the industrial park, and shot him to death.
According to the site, prosecutors believe Hernandez may have shown Lloyd the spot where a 2012 homicide took place in Boston. Prosecutors suggest that Lloyd's knowledge of the killings is the reason he killed his friend.
The former football player arrived in court with his mother, brother and his fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins.
Jenkins has now been listed as possible prosecution witness in the case.
Hernandez signed a $40 million contract as a tight end with the Patriots back in 2010.
The athlete was arrested in June 2013 and his being charged with the murder of his friend Lloyd and is also facing charges for two other murders.
Hernandez has pleaded not guilty for both charges however he remains in jail without bail.
