Chris Jamison is backed by a band of his friends (Andrew Willard, Jordan Millisor, Will Strickler and Matthiessen Nisch Quan), but it turns out his friends don't want to be called "The Chris Jamison Band" anymore.
Jamison tweeted his 110K followers Wednesday that his band is "looking for a new name".
He then asked, "Do you guys have any suggestions?"
Jamison got a flood of responses from some silly name possibilities to pretty intriguing ones. Some of the suggestions are mentioned below.
One fan thinks the band should be called "Falsetto" because of Jamison's vocal range abilities and claimed Jamison's falsetto is her favorite of his range.
Many other fans believe Jamison's band should still contain his name in some way with fans suggesting "JAMisons" as well as "Jamz".
Another thinks they should be called "Off The Radar" and gave a thorough explanation as to why.
Many other fans believe the word "velvet" needs to be incorporated into the band's name.
One suggestion was "VelvetJam" and another was "Blue Velvet".
Jamison and his band have yet to comment on any of the suggestions that have been tweeted to them.
