'Agent Carter' ABC: Where Is Dottie From? EPs Confirm Black Widow Connection [VIDEO]
Agent Carter's Dottie isn't just any old assassin; she's a product of the Black Widow program.
The ballerina's farm girl façade came crashing down as she whipped out her parkour moves at the Griffith, and it turns out "Dottie" (Bridget Regan) didn't receive her training in the states.
"We actually never say Black Widow, but people who know about it [understand]," executive producer Michele Fazekas told IGN. "You'll learn even more about it and her history in the next episode."
As viewers learn more about Dottie's past in "The Iron Curtin," perhaps Agent Carter will reveal her real name as well.
"She's Dottie for now," executive producer Tara Butters told IGN, swiftly implementing Marvel's 'wait and see' approach. "And the fact is, the great and exciting thing for us is we're showing the precursor to the Black Widow Program, as you will see in the upcoming episode, 105."
