Is Farrah Abraham Returning To 'Couples Therapy?'

In August, Us Weekly revealed Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell would be returning to MTV for a fifth season of Teen Mom. At the time, the magazine claimed Abraham had been left out of the project, but today, Abraham confirmed she would, in fact, be seen on the hit reality series.

"There’s going to be lots of excitement from the Teen Mom fans and MTV’s fan base as well, so I’m excited to be back!” Abraham told Us Weekly on Friday.

Teen Mom creator Lauren Dolgen also spoke out.

"It was obvious to me that we needed the fourth story," she explained of the decision to bring Abraham back. "There is such a balance of having four stories. There is more of [Farrah's] story to tell. The girls missed opportunities because they were young mothers and now they have new challenges and new opportunities, but it's just been an important part of the story telling."

According to the Us Weekly report, Teen Mom season 5 will premiere this spring.
