Fans of Esposito (Jon Huertas) and Lanie (Tamala Jones) on ABC's Castle have new hope that their favorite couple is still together.

'Castle' Is Apparently 'Coming Back,' But Will Nathan Fillion & Stana Katic Renew Contracts?

A fan sent in a question to TVLine about whether Esposito had any love interests coming up with him and Lanie having broken up. However, when the publication asked Jones about this, she clarified that there was "no calling it quits," despite the fact that they were not going to get married.

"Oh, it's still going on. I grabbed his butt at the end of the [break-up] scene, and you don't do that if it's over over," Jones clarified. "We are still messing around, but we are not getting married."

Another Castle fan asked about what was going to happen in the upcoming Ryan (Seamus Dever) centered episode. TVLine wrote that this will take place in episode 18, during which fans will meet Ryan's sister Gwen. Fans will also meet Gwen's husband Frank, who is described as a "burly security specialist."

With this a ways down the road, Jones previously spoke about the upcoming two-part episode of Castle that is set to air in February.

"You've never seen a Castle episode like these," she told TVLine earlier in the week about the two-part episode. "It's completely outrageous. You're going to cry, you're going to think someone died.... Your mind and your heart are going to be one."

Castle airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
