Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones might have had their fair share of ups and downs recently, but unlike many other couples in Hollywood, they have decided to put the effort in to make their marriage work. Despite separating two years ago, the Hollywood stars have worked hard to save both their marriage and family. Both were recently spotted looking "happy together" during an awards dinner in New York City this past week.

According to Page Six on Friday, Douglas and Zeta-Jones were at the Phoenix House Public Service Award dinner at Cipriani 42nd Street on Thursday. Sources say the couple looked both "happy" and "all smiles" during their night out together.

The Hollywood stars reportedly dined with event honoree Sheila Nevins, who is the president of HBO Documentary Films, along with HBO head Richard Plepler, according to the site.

Michael Douglas And Catherine Zeta Jones Back Together After Split?

Back in November, it was reported that the couple was going through a $300 million dollar divorce, when in actuality they have been patching up their marriage and buying a new country house instead. The Hollywood couple reportedly even enjoyed a post-Christmas ski vacation in Denver with their two children, Carys and Dylan, back in December.

The National Enquirer's print edition in November claims that the couple has been having "massive fights" with Zeta-Jones even refusing to celebrate Douglas' recent 70th birthday.

Gossip Cop corrected the story though, reporting that the recently-reconciled couple is doing just fine, with a couple confirming that there is absolutely "no trouble" in their marriage.
