The reading took place at the St. Malachy Actors Chapel in New York City on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 8 p.m. Written by Phillips and directed by Richard Zavaglia, the reading starred Phillips, Freeman and Tyler Jacob Moore.
Writers are currently developing the new season of Longmire for the show's Netflix debut. The series had previously been one of A&E's most popular programs, though this did not stop the network from cancelling it in 2014. Netflix picked up the crime drama in November. Production is set to begin in March.
Longmire will likely return for a fourth season on Netflix during the later half of 2015.
