Prince William and Kate Middleton learned a few things about parenting after the birth of their first son.
Kate Middleton's Brother 'Frustrated' With Sister & Royal Association
While the royal parents elected to go it alone just after little Prince George's birth, for their second child the couple is doing things a bit differently. They've decided to get some additional help in the form of a maternity nurse. The new hire will be in addition to one-year-old George's full time person and is expected to stay with the family for about three months after Kate give birth.
According to the Daily Mail on Sunday, William and Kate began looking into things back in September of 2014 when they approached the Norland Agency and Royal Nannies in London.
Why Kate Middleton Might Be Expecting A Girl This Time Around
An unnamed source allegedly informed the Daily Mail that Kate is eager to resume her charity work and while those first days after little George was born were rewarding, they were also exhausted for the royal couple. Kate in particular felt the strain and has decided to opt for some more help this time around.
The hiring of a maternity nurse has been customary for the royal family over the years, though William and Kate broke tradition when George was born. It seems they've found some merit to the royal way of doing this, however, and have decided to give it a go.
The fact that Kate has suffered more neasuea and discomfort with her second child could also be a factor in the couple's change of heart, though the royal family has declined to comment on the subject at this time.
Princess Kate is expected to give birth to her second child in April.
