Rebecca Mader, who played Zelena, a.k.a. the Wicked Witch in Once Upon a Time during season 3, is reportedly back for season 4, according to a new report by TVLine. The actress is apparently appearing on the Once Upon a Time set through the week.

As for why she will be appearing again, the report says that she will be shown in flashbacks as season 4 comes to a conclusion.

Obviously she was murdered at the end of season 3 by Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) so the likelihood of her appearing in any present day scenes were slim to none to begin with. However, anything is possible in a world as magical as Once Upon a Time.

With Zelena's return, that makes four iconic female villains who are slated to appear in the second half of the season. Maleficent (Kristin Bauer van Straten), Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit) and Ursula (Merrin Dungey) are going to become the main villains coming up, and with the show coming off the heels of the villainous Snow Queen (Elizabeth Mitchell), there is certainly no shortage of evil women on Once Upon a Time.

Once Upon a Time returns for the second half of season 4 on Sunday, March 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
