The fourth season of Call the Midwife still has time before it airs in the United States, but it sounds like one of the episodes will definitely be grippling to audiences.
New Character On 'Call The Midwife' Is 'Quite Naive'
As the series airs in the United Kingdom, the show's Twitter page re-tweeted a number of posts from fans who mentioned how proud they were of the latest episode as it dealt with controversial issues that took place in the 1960's. The series delves into homosexuality and how society was against it during those times.
One user commented on this episode by mentioning how unfortunate it is that something like this would happen in the past and how it still exists today.

Another user mentioned how touched she was by watching this episode.

Someone else pointed out how surprised his daughter was to discover how homosexuality was treated in the 1960's.
