Finn Polmar To "Flip," Surprise Fans In Season 6

A Yahoo! report revealed that his character R.D. will be as "an intelligent, approachable, and politically conservative businessman who loves a civilized argument with a worthy opponent and has a passion for hunting."

A recent report reveals that Gary Cole, who plays Kurt McVeigh in The Good Wife, will be returning for the upcoming episodes of season 6.

Since having tied the knot with Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski), the ballistics expert has been missing for quite some time, and fans haven't gotten a look at him in season 6 so far. TVLine reports that McVeigh will be back very soon, when the show returns on March 1.

In other recent news related to the show, Archie Panjabi, who portrays Kalinda Sharma in the series, spoke about her exit after season 6.

Panjabi spoke to Radio Times about working on The Fall with Gillian Anderson and while talking about a particular scene on the show, she dropped a reason about why she felt she was done withThe Good Wife.

"When I was kissing her, Allan Cubitt, the show's creator and director, had to say, 'Archie, can you hold back?' because Gillian was supposed to take me by complete surprise. I didn't think that I was very forward in [the scene], but obviously after a while a character starts to affect you," Panjabi said.

The "character" Panjabi was talking about was Kalinda Sharma from The Good Wife.

"I thought, 'OK, I think it's time to go now,'" she added.

On October 15, The Hollywood Reporter broke the bit of news about Panjabi leaving the show after season 6. Panjabi's contract with the CBS legal drama expires at the end of this season and it was revealed that she had no intention of renewing it, as she had made other commitments. More specifically, starring in a new Fox drama, the pilot for which should air next spring. Panjabi's move might also have been spurred by the fact that her character arc was weakening as the seasons went along, in the last chapter she became less significant to the plot of the show.

Sharon Klein, executive vice president at 20th century Fox, expressed her excitement at getting Panjabi on board.

"Archie is an Emmy Award-winning dramatic actress, and rightly so. Her work on The Good Wife has been extraordinary, and the time has come for her to star in a project of her own," she said. "We couldn't be happier that it will be with us."
