Melissa Claire Egan Divulges February Will Be A Hot Month On 'The Young and the Restless'

Back in November of last year, he was welcomed to The Young and the Restless as the head writer and co-executive producer, which the soap's Twitter announced.

Since joining the daytime show, he has been receiving tons of praise for the storylines he's developing.

On Jan. 30, Hunter King who portrays Summer Newman Travers urged her followers to follow the soap's "amazing head writer".

She said, "He's so talented AND hilarious!"

The day before, Melissa Claire Egan who plays Chelsea Lawson in the soap revealed there are "Very exciting stories coming up on" The Young and the Restless since she had a meeting with Pratt Jr. and gained some insight.

Melissa Ordway who plays Abby Newman also praised Pratt Jr.'s writing, claiming he "is bringing the drama to GC" especially in the episodes they shot during the last week of January.

Kristoff St. John, Neil Winters on the soap, also praised the head writer, dedicating his thousandth follow on Twitter to him.

Some fans earned retweets from the head writer for their praise within the last week.

One said the "stories are awesome!!"

Another fan shared the soap is "getting back to its core" with big thanks to Pratt Jr.
