Rihanna Tattoo, Posts Topless Pic Of New Tattoo Under Her Chest (VIEW PHOTO)
Rihanna paid tribute to her late grandmother with a tattoo of an Egyptian goddess inked just below her breasts.
The "We Found Love" singer posted the image to her Instagram for her millions of followers to see on Sunday, Sept. 9.
"Goddess Isis- Complete Woman - Model for future generations- #GRANGRANDOLLY - always in and on my heart #1lo,"wrote Rihanna.
The photo shows the pop singer's arms covering her breasts with the striking tattoo of Isis with wings spread out just above her rib cage.
The Bajan beauty's grandmother, Clara "Dolly" Brathwaite, passed away from cancer in July.
The kneeling Isis image is reportedly said to represent "the eternal mother, friend to slaves, sinners and the helpless."
The Grammy winner had her new ink job created in the Soho area of London where she performed for the Paralympics closing ceremony, part of the London 2012 Games. She joined Coldplay, Jay-Z and other artists at the Olympic stadium before a crowd of 80,000 on Sept. 9
The inked dedication is reportedly her eighteenth tattoo. Others include a falcon, a gun, music notes and the word "Love" on her finger.
The flaunting of her latest tattoo comes three days after she created buzz worldwide at the 2012 MTV VMA on Thursday, Sept. 6.
The "Birthday Cake" singer debuted a short pixie haircut, opened the awards show, won Video Of The Year for "We Found Love" and upon acceptance of the statuette, she reportedly kissed her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown on the lips. Afterwards, Rihanna passed her hand over Brown's hair.
According to Hollywood Life, a nameless source close to Rihanna said the Barbados singer would do anything to get closer to Brown.
"That's obvious. Hell yeah, she would. [There isn't anything] she wouldn't do for [him]," the source said. "She'd do just about anything for him.''
During an interview on Oprah's Next Chapter last month, Rihanna admitted that she is still in love with Brown, who famously assaulted her in 2009.
"We love each other and we probably always will, and that's not anything that we're going to try to change," Rihanna said to Winfrey. "He was my first love and I see that he loved me the same way. I truly love him. The main thing for me is he's at peace. I'm not at peace if he's not happy or he's still lonely. I care. It actually matters that he finds that peace."
