The dancer wrote on Twitter this week that Dancing With the Stars would be announcing all of the pros next week that will be competing in season 20 this March.

"One more week before @abc @DancingABC announces the pro dancers for season 20 #dwts #exciting," he tweeted.

'Dancing With the Stars' Tuesday Results Show Coming Back For 2015 Season?

Based on his "exciting" news, it would seem that van Amstel might actually be back to compete on Dancing With the Stars. The dancer last competed in season 15 with Sabrina Bryan.

Van Amstel also previously hinted that he was returning for season 20 back in December, tweeting at the time that there was a "good chance" he would be returning for the show's 10th anniversary.

As DWTS showrunner Rob Wade said at the time, the 20th season "gives us a chance to bring back our pros, whether it's all-time pros or ones that appeared in challenges, some of the faces, perhaps, that you haven't seen for a while," speaking with The Wrap.

There will be quite a few switch-ups in regard to the pros for the 20th season. Longtime pros Derek Hough and Cheryl Burke will not be competing, with the latter choosing to leave the dance competition. It remains to be seen if even more familiar faces will be leaving. The pro dancers announcement will likely take place on ABC's Good Morning America, like it was for season 19.

Dancing With the Stars airs Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
