'Hannibal' Season 3 Spoilers: First Official PHOTO Released, Viewers Await Premiere Date [VIDEO]
Hannibal has released the first official photo for season 3.
As if the psychological thriller wasn't creepy enough, the new photo ups the scare factor with the ever-eerie fog shrouded cemetery.
The image comes from the DeLaurentiis Company, which is in charge of the NBC series. While fans would probably prefer a photo they could really sink their teeth into, such as one that prominently features Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) or Will Graham (Hugh Dancy), the morbid locale reminds viewers that the upcoming season will open in the wake of at least one character's untimely demise.
It seems Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) and Will escaped Hannibal's bloody "Mizumono" massacre alive, albeit physically and emotionally scared, but their luck will not extend to either Alana Bloome (Caroline Dhavernas) or Abigail Hobbs (Kacey Rohl).
"Don't rule out anybody for dying, and don't rule out anybody for living," series creator Bryan Fuller previously told TV Line.
Unfortunately, NBC has yet to reveal when the good doctor will return to TV screens. Set for a summer return, Hannibal does not have a premiere date as of yet.
