'Fast and Furious 7' Spoilers: Owen Shaw To Be Resuscitated In 'Furious 7'? [VIDEO]
Luke Evans, who played Owen Shaw in Fast and Furious 6, teased the possibility of resuscitating Owen in Furious 7 in an interview.
Cast Back On Set For Re-Shooting Scenes Of Furious 7?
On February 4, a Facebook page for the movie, dug up this interview with Evans when he was promoting Dracula Untold in late last year. In the interview Evans suggests that ike Michelle Rodriguez's character Letty Ortiz was brought back, even his villanous character Owen could be brought back to life in the next instalment of the movie. While we haven't had any glimpse of Owen through the trailer or the movie, and have mostly seen his brother Ian (Jason Statham) on his pursuit for vengeance.
Recently, a new Furious 7 still featuring Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) in combat was revealed via the official Facebook page for the movie.
New Trailer For Furious 7 To Release on February 1?
The image showed Toretto and Shaw jumping in mid-air wielding metal wrenches, pipes and hammers, charging at each other. The caption on the picture is in German.
In December last year, KPopStarz reported about the dynamics of Ian, who is avenging his brother's, Owen Shaw, death in Furious 7, fighting with Toretto and detective Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson). There will definitely be a fight sequence between Hobbs and Ian. Behind-the-scenes stills of Diesel and Statham in action sequences have also been revealed in the past.
The report also sources an interview of Diesel's with E!Online wherein he spoke about the fight sequences with Statham.
"We both walked away with a lot of injuries... nothing permanent," he said.
At the special launch of the trailer, Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordanna Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Statham and Ludacris were present at the event which was streamed live on E!. Gibson, who plays Roman Pearce in the movies, dished about working with Statham, who plays the prime antagonist Owen Shaw's older brother, Ian, in Furious 7. Ian will be out for revenge as Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his crew killed his brother in Fast and Furious 6. "Jason's a bully," Gibson joked. "He plays cool and humble but something happens, you're talking to him, hanging...as soon as you yell cut, he is trying to like manually slice your head off, and that's just what he is, he is a bully."
Furious 7 will hit theaters in April 2015.
