Longmire was cancelled on A&E following its third season despite being one of the network's most popular programs. The series lingiered in limbo for months before it was picked up by Netflix in November and writers immediately reconvened to begin mapping out the new episodes.
Longmire will likely return for a fourth season on Netflix during the later half of 2015.
