Amanda Bynes Lawsuit: Former Actress Being Sued By Attorney, Find Out How Much He’s Seeking For Services [PHOTO]
She seems to once again be in a good place, but Amanda Bynes is still facing yet more problems and legal issues.
Amanda Bynes Makes A Rare Public Appearance
The 28-year-old former actress is now being sued by an attorney whose services she reportedly enlisted this past fall, when she was briefly held at a Pasadena hospital and undergoing new treatment for bipolar and schizophrenia disorders, TMZ reports.
Artemio Santiago has filed docs claiming he was Bynes' savior last fall, after getting her to begin taking her meds again the second he was hired, and claiming he became like her attendant, bringing her personal items at the hospital including ballet shoes, tights, DVDs and various books.
Could Amanda Bynes Still Be Headed To Jail?
He was also featured with Bynes after she was released from the hospital, when the two went to lunch at a Hollywood diner instead of heading to court.
Now, he claims, he is out $16K for his services, which Bynes' conservatorship lawyer and parents claim shouldn't be paid as the former actress was not operating under the proper mental capacity to actually hire a lawyer.
This isn't the only potential legal trouble facing Bynes however.
She was arrested for a DUI while driving under the influence of Adderall in September, and was given a break recently when the Los Angeles City Attorney's office opted not to press charges against her. However, she could still face potential jail time for the incident.
Her case has since been forwarded to the L.A. County District Attorney's office for further review, as the arrest was in direct violation of her previous probation for other incidents back in 2012 and 2013.
