After Switched at Birth took on a controversial storyline, audiences are probably wondering who is going to have to take responsibility for what happened.

'Switched At Birth' Winter Premiere Chatter

On Saturday, Just Jared released a video with Vanessa Marano (Bay) who opened up on the episode when Bay and Tank had sex while she was drunk.

"I think what makes the situation so hard too is that Bay and Tank are 'friends,'" Marano pointed out. "And Tank has always had feelings for Bay. They dated too, they've been in romantic situations with each other before."

The actress mentioned that in Tank's perspective, there's nothing wrong with what he did since he and Bay already know each other and they've dated before. But at the same time, Bay was drunk and she was having problems with her boyfriend Emmett. There is also the matter of Bay knowing how Tank feels about her.

"There is an element there of like, 'Did he take advantage of her?' Then from her perspective, she knows he likes her," Marano said. "She knows that she cheated on him and that he still has feelings for her. She's telling him about all the problems with her ex-boyfriend and then you go, 'Well, she should've known that she was leading him on.' But she's also completely wasted so should she have?"

So who's really at fault here? According to Marano, both Bay and Tank are.

"They're both so in the wrong that it makes it a situation where it's like, 'well, who could've stopped it at that point? Whose responsibility was it to stop it?'" the actress said. "And it was both of them."
