Longmire is just a month away from production, which means fans could be looking at a new trailer soon.

Cast Says 'Longmire' Debut On Netflix 'Is Gonna Rock'

The crime drama's fourth season will be a big one. In addition to continuing off season 3's major cliffhanger, the series will be making its debut on Netflix. This means longer episodes, no commercials, and more creative freedom against a backdrop of limited censorship.

The first trailer could tell fans a lot about what kind of changes might be made to the popular program now that it's no longer on A&E. Netflix hasn't set a premiere date just yet, but as soon as production begins viewers can likely begin waiting for a little teaser to see how things are going.

Author Craig Johnson Could Write An Episode Of 'Longmire' For Netflix

So when will the trailer debut? Will the network wait until production is completed? Production is set to begin in March. An early teaser could be released as early as May, though a full one before June seems unlikely.

Longmire ventured down a rocky road in 2014, when A&E decided to axe the series after its third season. Not only had the crime drama been the network's highest-rated scripted series, it was also A&E's second highest-rated series total behind the reality show Duck Dynasty.

For months producers shopped the program around with other networks before Netflix stepped in and saved the series from permanent cancellation in November. Since then, writers have been hard at work mapping out the new episodes.

Longmire will likely return for a fourth season on Netflix during the later half of 2015.
