Oil driller Mike Holloway is about as blue collar as it gets, and the upcoming Survivor: Worlds Apart contestant has a complicated and troubled past.

'Survivor' Host Jeff Probst Reveals Who He Thinks Will Be First To Go In Season 30, 'Worlds Apart'

Mike, 38, is from North Richland Hills, Texas and will be part of the blue collar tribe on CBS's Survivor: Worlds Apart, which splits the contestants up by socioeconomic class, white collar, blue collar and "no collar." Describing himself as "loyal, ambitious and clever," Mike says that his personal claim to fame was paying off his house in 2.5 years.

His life experience mixed with his competitive drive are what he believes will help him in the game of Survivor. He says in his bio that he has a "never-quit" attitude, which should be refreshing to fans who are witnessing people quit seemingly every season at this point.

Mike divulges that he was actually molested as a child and has had to overcome a lot of adversity in his past. His ability to adapt may be what helps him excel in the game.

"My life is constantly changing. At work, I must adapt to what the oil well is doing and sometimes drastic measures need to be taken. In my personal life, I have had to overcome being molested and bullied when I was young and not having a father," he explains. "Learning to be influenced by the right people has been no easy chore. I have grown into my own skin - I know who I am and what I am about. My faith has made me whole, my family and friends have me strong, and my experiences have made me adapt. Let's get it on!!!!"

Survivor: Worlds Apart premieres Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
