Movie star Jennifer Lawrence might be taking her acting skills to the sci-fi world in the upcoming flick Passengers.

On Sunday, Web Pro News announced that the actress is slated to co-star with Chris Pratt in the movie about a man wakes up from a cryogenic sleep a decade earlier. Following a spacecraft, Pratt's character is supposed to wake a woman up so he won't have to be lonely; Lawrence might play that woman.
The site pointed out that both actors are in talks for the roles right now with nothing set in stone just yet. Considering that both of the stars have been doing non-stop work lately, they may not have time for another film depending on production scheduling and such.

Lawrence will be appearing in X-Men: Apocalypse while Pratt has been working on the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy. Some of Lawrence's other big films include The Hunger Games series, Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle. Pratt is known for Her, Jurassic World and the TV series Parks and Recreation.
Apparently, the film Passengers has gone through a good haul of changes, being passed around to different studios. Web Pro News pointed out that the movie was passed from The Weinstein Compant and Focus Features where it eventually ended up at Sony.
Keanu Reeves, Reese Witherspoon and Rachel McAdams were all reportedly attached to the film at one point until they dropped out.
