Plus, they've been pinned against each other since they each reigned with popular shows on the same network. As of lately, their feuding has hit a new high since they've taken it to social media while mocking each other.
Is Miley Cyrus Seeking Revenge On Selena Gomez Because Of Nick Jonas?
Cyrus mocked Gomez on Jan. 21 after Gomez shared a photo of herself in a black bikini on Jan. 14 and then Gomez mocked Cyrus in return and it appears as though all of this feuding at the moment stems from guys in their lives from the past.
Hollywood Life initially reported on Jan. 27 that their recent social media feud had to do with Cody Simpson's birthday party involving comments Cyrus made about Gomez's ex Justin Bieber not being there because of Gomez.
Last Wednesday, the site then reported that Gomez was just stewing over the assumed hook up her ex had with Cyrus.
"Miley does not see Justin that way, they're just friends, they're like family, but she's happy that Selena is threatened- anything she can do to get to her," a source admitted.
Then Hollywood Life brought up Jonas later that night, revealing that Cyrus is constantly dissing Gomez because of a grudge over him and her breaking up and then him dating Gomez right after.
Friday, the site dished that Jonas wants both exes to move on.
A source revealed, "Nick's teeny bopper days feel like ancient history to him. He doesn't spend one second of his life thinking about Miley or Selena as he's too focused on his future. Nick wants to be taken seriously as a leading man in Hollywood so to have his name dragged back into some junior high school feud is really frustrating."
"Nick's completely moved on and thinks Miley and Selena should too. They should get over any problems they had with each other when they were kids. It's time for everyone to grow up," the source added.
