Vikings' Kattegat will get a mysterious new visitor when season 3 opens.

Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) will take his new title as King of Denmark and head back to England in the premiere, leaving Siggy (Jessalyn Gilsig), Queen Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland), and Helga (Maude Hirst) to deal with the man of their dreams - literally. All three women had portentous dreams, foretelling the arrival of an enigmatic traveler named Harbard (Kevin Durand).

Set to stick around for three episodes, according to Monsters and Critics, Harbard will bring a little mystery to the village.

"You know it's exactly the way that each show has been pushing it. It's mysterious. I mean even for me - I'm not even 100% sure," Durand told Monsters and Critics when asked about the nature of his character. "You know what I mean? I have a very, very good idea but it will be interesting to see what you think as the episodes move along and I'm really interested in seeing what people think."
