The Originals was all about the Mikaelsons on Monday night as the series saw reunions, fights, and some good old-fashioned family drama.

These Family Reunions On 'The Originals' Might Give Fans Nightmares

Finn (Yusuf Gatewood) and Freya (Riley Voelkel) finally came together after centuries apart, though it's uncertain whether or not Freya was completely forthcoming with her brother about her past. The episode also managed to give Kol (Daniel Sharman) the acceptance and validation he's always longed for from Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Rebekah (Maisie Richardson-Sellers).

In between the cursing, magic, and bloodshed, Cami (Leah Pipes) saw first-hand just what baby Hope is capable of when the child prevented their car from nearing the Mikaelson hideout moments before the structure exploded. Apparently the little hybrid has more witch in her than Klaus and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) had thought.

Marcel's Vampires Attacking Hayley On 'The Originals'

On Monday The CW also released a trailer for next week's episode (featured below), teasing out what fans can expect next.

Hayley and Jackson (Nathan Parsons) will officially tie the knot during I Love You, Goodbye. What Hayley doesn't know, however, is that Klaus will be plotting to murder Jackson shortly after the ceremony.

"His reign will be short lived…" warned Klaus during the preview. "He is not one of us."

There is a flaw in Klaus' plan, however. Elijah (Daniel Gillies) cares deeply for Hayley, so much so that he would protect the man she is marrying even if it means he will never have the opportunity to be with her himself.

The Originals continues on The CW with its second season Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
