'Glee' Season 6 Spoilers: Unique Returns With Special 'Hairspray' Performance In Honor Of Beiste's Transition [VIDEO]
Unique (Alex Newell) is slated to come back to McKinley High on the next episode of Fox's Glee in honor of Beiste's (Dot-Marie Jones) big transition.

Coach Beiste is set to return to McKinley High in the next episode having gone through her surgery to become a man. Now going by Sheldon Beiste, he will be surprised to see the return of Unique, who becomes offers her support. Fox has released a new sneak peek of the episode through Entertainment Tonight, with Newell speaking on the storyline.
"Unique is back to make a little bit of a visit, and she's there to support Bieste and be that rock," Newell says. "There is so much heart in this episode."

The episode will feature a huge performance of the song I Know Where I've Been from Hairspray. As Glee EP Dante DiLoreto says in the sneak peek, the performance is a big deal.
"It's the climactic moment in the episode where we reveal a 200-person, proud, strong, transgender choir," he says. "It is incredibly uplifting working with this choir. This isn't about tolerance, it's about coming home and coming home to who you really are -- and who you're meant to be and who you're meant to be with."
The sneak peek shows Beiste stepping into the middle of the choir, surrounded by supportive voices. It is sure to be an emotional episode in Glee's already emotional final season.
