'Love And Hip Hop Atlanta' Season 4: Stevie J Pleads Not Guilty To Back Child Support, Talks Rehab, 'I Was In A Dark Place' [VIDEO]
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Stevie J has broken his silence after he pleaded not guilty to owing more than $1 million in back child support.

Just after his plea he made a statement to reporters Tuesday.
"I've been waiting for a judge who understands what I'm going through," New York Daily News reported Tuesday.

The case was investigated by federal court after many unsuccessful attempts to try it in Family Court, Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew DeFilippis said.
"Over the course of 10 years it has not worked."
Stevie J was originally ordered to pay $6,608 in 2001 for two of his teenaged children. But that was boosted to $8,557 back in 2011.
He went on to encourage listeners to tune in to Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and look for new music "from his lovely wife," Joseline Hernandez.
Hernandez was by his side and rocked a body-hugging white dress that went just below her knees. She paired it with knee-high brown boots and a black coat with fur trim.
TMZ caught up with the producer turned reality star just after court. He insisted said he does pay child support, but his children like to spend it pretty quickly.
"I just left the kids in Philly. My kids can go through a check really quick. The judge knows it's a frivolous case here. I guess he needs to get all the information...He was saying how 'Why was this case even in federal court? It was dismissed in state court..."
He said he hopes that case will get "thrown out" once again.
He added that his son went as far as writing the judge a letter in Stevie's defense.
He went on to post couple of snapshots on Instagram.
Interestingly enough, VH1 caught it all on tape so viewers will most likely see it on the upcoming fourth season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. The show is slated to return this April. Stevie J recently did a stint in rehab after testing positive for cocaine more than ten times.
He also spoke with TMZ about that and said "I was in a dark place and wanted to do something. I took the other route and did something I shouldn't have even done. I feel better, I feel great."
