'The Night Shift' NBC: TC's Sister-In-Law To Appear, What New Problems Will Annie Bring In Season 2? [VIDEO]
Misery loves company on The Night Shift.
The Night Shift' Season 2: Premiere Plot Revealed, Can TC Prove He's Ready To Come Back To Work?
It turns out TC Callahan (Eoin Macken) wasn't the only person to enter a tailspin following his brother's death. The ER doctor may hold himself responsible for Thad's death, but his sister-in-law was equally as wrecked by her husband's battlefield death.
Named Annie (Sarah Jane Morris), Thad's widow will make an appearance in season 2 of the NBC drama.
'The Night Shift' NBC: Cast Changes Set For Season 2, Who Won't Return?
"Sarah Jane Morris has booked a multi-episode arc as war vet TC's sister-in-law, Annie, who has been in free fall ever since the death of her husband," TV Line reported. "TC has supported Annie through her hard times and even put her through nursing school, but she may be concealing a potentially deadly problem..."
Hopefully TC will get a chance to catch his breath before this new complication is dropped in his lap. The events of last year's "Blood Brothers" and "Save Me" pushed the doc over the edge, causing him to start season 2 on a break from his job at the San Antonio Medical Center.
Find out how TC will find his way back into the operating room when The Night Shift return to NBC on Feb. 23 at 10 p.m. ET. Click the video below to see a preview for the upcoming premiere.
