'The Mentalist' Season 7 Spoilers: Will The Finale Have A Tragic Twist? Find Out What Simon Baker Has To Say [VIDEO]
The Mentalist's Simon Baker would like the series to end with a tragic twist.
The CBS drama will come full circle with "Brown Shag Carpet" and "White Orchids," returning Patrick Jane (Baker) and Co. to a serial killer case. Despite the immense danger that Lazarus poses, it doesn't look like Baker will get the sad end he hoped for.
"I think the most tragic endings are more romantic in a way. I also think about the character that I signed on to play," Baker told The Hull Daily Mail. "He was a tragic character from the beginning, and to me, it only ever felt right that there was sort of a tragic ending to it."

Viewers did get a taste of the tragedy with the death of Agent Vega (Josie Loren) during "Nothing Gold Can Stay," but it looks like "White Orchids" will close out on a high note.
Jane will propose to Lisbon (robin Tunney) during the first half of the two-hour finale, and the pair will tie the knot during the last hour (you can see photos here).
