Kendall Jenner is fast becoming one of the most important and talked-about models in the fashion world, but even she admits that she sometimes has her "off" days. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star recently opened up to Allure Magazine, where she talks about her modeling dreams, "coming out of her shell" and how she too suffers from acne on some days.

In the interview, Jenner says that her dream of becoming a runway model began when she was still a little girl.

She said, "Kylie and I had to grow up in front of people, and it was hard sometimes ... but it was never a negative thing. I would read magazines, and I would look at pictures with these women who looked so powerful. I wanted to be that to some little girl or little boy."

As far as how she's managed to overcome her shyness, Jenner explained, "I still have a hard time looking at someone when I'm talking to them, and I get nervous. When I started getting in front of the camera a lot, I think my confidence started to come out. It took a minute, because I had to believe in myself."

What's more, Jenner says that she still deals with the same beauty and skin issues that many girls her age has, but that hasn't stopped her from doing what she loves.

"I had just started ninth grade when I got my acne. And I had braces. I wouldn't look people in the eye," Jenner explained. "It was not a good time for me - it just killed my self-esteem. I thought when I didn't look at someone, they couldn't see my face."

But if there's one thing that Jenner will never do with her body, it's add on any permanent ink.

"I have a really weird thing about 'forever.' And my sister Kim always said, 'Don't put a bumper sticker on a Bentley,'" she said.
