'The Originals' Season 2 Spoilers: Kol Saying Goodbye To Davina As He Nears Death? [VIDEO]
Kol will be putting on a brave face as he confronts Davina on The Originals this week.
A Wedding & Betrayal Are Underway On 'The Originals'
Afraid to confront Davina (Danielle Campbell) now that he is dying, Kol (Daniel Sharman) blocked out the fear and turned on the charm in a new clip released by The CW on Wednesday (featured below).
The sneak peek showed Josh (Steven Krueger) guilt-ridden over having attacked his werewolf boyfriend while under Finn's (Yusuf Gatewood) hunger spell, though his concerns were short-lived as Kol soon arrived to speak with Davina.
These Family Reunions On 'The Originals' Might Give Fans Nightmares
Instead of being upfront about the fact that Finn had condemned him to death, Kol tried to keep things lighthearted as he made excuses for having avoided Davina the previous day while off saving his niece and gaining he respect of his brother, Klaus (Joseph Morgan).
Davina was far from please that he hadn't called her for help, which only amused Kol.
"This is a right proper spat we're having," he teased. "It's almost as if we're…going steady."
Davina laughed at the suggestion, though the chemistry between the pair has been pretty strong all season long. Kol has a tendency to be selfish, but his willingness to put his own life on the line for Davina over the last few weeks has shown that he does genuinely care for her. Given Kol's new trouble, though, he might not have much time be "going steady" for long.
Rebekah (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Klaus are determined to help break the spell which will kill him, but right now they have plenty of problems and very few leads.
If they're not careful, the upcoming episode could be Kol's last.
The Originals continues on The CW with its second season Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
