Will 'The Mentalist' Finale Have A Tragic Twist? Find Out What Simon Baker Has To Say

Following seven years of faux psychic endeavors, Patrick Jane (Baker) will put the CBS drama to rest with "Brown Shag Carpet" and "White Orchids." Set to feature a Jisbon wedding, Baker believes the finale will be fan-friendly.

"I think it is satisfying," Baker told Channel Guide Mag. "I really enjoyed [being a part of the series] and I want to leave loving the experience and I want the show to finish with people loving the experience."

While "White Orchids" was penned by series creator Bruno Heller, Baker had a hand in formulating the final scene.

"I didn't write the script, but I definitely wrote the last scene," Baker explained. ""I just called Bruno [Heller, creator and executive producer] and said, 'I think this should end it, and what do you think?' And he said, 'I love the idea.' And he wrote a draft and I fiddled with that draft."
