Being excited to win the $1 million prize is something most Amazing Race contestants feel, but a new member of the season 26 cast is also excited to meet the person he's being set up with on an extreme blind date.

Mike and Rochelle Just Want To 'Have Fun' On 'The Amazing Race'

Bergen Olson, a 23-year-old Human Resources Project manager from California, is getting set up with Kurt Belcher in the 26th season-and while he admits he's nervous about meeting his date, Olson also says he won't let the possibility that they don't hit it off keep him from still trying to win the $1 million.

"I can't tell you how nerve-wracking it is just waiting and waiting and waiting to see who we're going to get partnered with," he said in a pre-race interview with CBS. "You never know who it's going to be, but it's a once in a lifetime opportunity, so you have to make the most of it either or."

"If we don't click, we're going to work together to get to the $1 million," he continued. "it's a million dollars at the end of the race, you're not just going to give up just because you're not partnered with someone great, but on the other hand, if a partner is someone who is really great, we're going to have such an amazing time together, and then hopefully still get to the end, and hopefully start a life together with $1 million, I think either or, it's going to be great."

However, Olson is prepared to warn his partner that he doesn't have a lot of travel experience, meaning things could be difficult for them as soon as they head overseas.

"I am a good traveler, but I have never been outside of the U.S., so that's one thing that I'm really excited for, but it's also very nerve-wracking because I've never been outside of the U.S....not even Canada when I lived n North Dakota!" he admitted. "I was about 100 miles from the Canada border, and I still never left the U.S. I think that definitely scares me a little bit, but again, it's pushing me outside of my comfort zone, it's something that I've never done and it's something that I've always wanted to do but I haven't had the opportunity to do that yet so I'm really excited."

The Amazing Race season 26 premieres Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 9:30 p.m. on CBS.
